An early-stage lighting design by Maryano Fortuny, its intricate construction draws stability and inspiration from a camera tripod, drawing on the artist’s eclectic experience to create something revolutionary and memorable, reversing the traditional direction of the lampshade to create something that can project reflected radiance using diaphanous fabric. The shade takes on a soft glow from the lamping while projecting welcome radiance, transforming its surroundings with detail and character.
